The CANdapter communicates through a virtual serial port, which makes it independent of the operating system and very simple to write programs and applications.
This device is only required for initial programming of the OrionBMS and continuous diagnostics. It is not required for BMS implementation in the field.
A CANdapter can be used to program multiple OrionBMS units.
